Went up on a winter fishing trip. The owners were wonderful, the price was outstanding and the room was like if I was at home. I would highly recommend the Owl's Nest Motel if you need a place to stay while you are up fishing for a few days.
Rooms are really comfy and clean. Rooms are very well priced even for summer time in the area. If you have a boat they have electric hookups to charge up. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
It's got classic-american charm. Mom and pop run. Mom and pop are very nice and accommodating. Very clean. Modern electric chargers don't fit into their two pronged, recessed electric outlets well. That's my only complaint.
Extremely clean!! Everything tidy & in good repair. Had to stay on short notice 'cause our cabin lost power. Now we know it's a place we can recommend to others or extra guests we can't accommodate.
Owners are very nice and accommodating. Only has 9 rooms but is very clean for a small place. Price was great! We will definitely be back!
This place is "old school" don't expect a lot of 5 star amenities. It's clean and inviting. the owners are perfect for this place (Ma & Pa) and very very nice. We have stayed here twice and will continue to stay here when we are in Hackensack. I highly recommend this place, if you are looking for clean, inviting and cheap.

Stayed here definitely worth the price walking distance to the beach and places to eat. Helpful staff. Rooms are clean plan to bring my future wife here and enjoy the north woods
